Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have been thrashing this phrase for at least a month now in the lead up to Marvel’s The Avengers‘ premier. The main reason behind this big marketing strategy is because of the significant impact the premier of Captain America: The Winter Soldier had on the landscape of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe this time last year with the disbanding of the S.H.I.E.L.D. organisation.
